Create a Power Point Presentation that resembles a movie trailer. Try to include the following elements: setting, major and minor characters, summary of main events, conflicts that occurred, and themes. · You must have at least 7 slides and 2 pictures · You must highlight the main events of the novella. · Name actors and others involved in your film. *Remember this isn’t just a presentation. This should look like something that you would see at the movies. I would encourage anyone who knows how to use MOVIE MAKER to use that instead of powerpoint. If you use MOVIE MAKER: - You must have 7 pictures - You must narrate as well as type information. - You should also try to incorporate music.
C. Newspaper Article
1) Create a newspaper for the day of March 1880 when the news reveals the double identity of Dr. Henry Jekyll. · You must include a headline, a feature story about the events of his passing (death), a biographical sketch of Dr. Jekyll, and an obituary. · You must format this to look like a page from the newspaper. · Using large newsprint or flip chart paper, design your front page. Include several pictures or images to add interest to the story.
D. Compare and Contrast Paper
1) Watch the musical film version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and write a compare/contrast paper. · You must write about how the novella and the movie are alike. · You must also write about how they are different. · Be sure to compare characters, plot, and setting.
ASSESMENT: You will be graded on accuracy, detail, grammar, spelling, neatness, and creativity.
